I hope that these poo bags are as environmentally friendly as claimed. I use them all the time and they work well. However, if they get a bit damp in your pocket they quickly begin to fall apart and decompose.
To have a favourite poo bag surely marks the end of my youth, but these are good poo bags. Sturdy, non plastic (I’ve previously been conned by recycled plastic and biodegrading but still plastic), good tie handles, don’t take ages to find the opening of, nor do they require a lot of flapping to get the air in before use. Puppy dog does approximately 2-5 poos per day, and at 8 pence per poo this is not cheap, but nothing is.
These poo bags are strong and a good size. The dog doesn't care what bags we use but they get my vote as they feel substantial and unlikely to split. At the same time, they are genuinely biodegradable. I am now a subscriber.
These are a fair price for a 120 non scented poo bags. I am very conscious of using plastic poo bags so I have made the decision to use biodegradable ones from now on.These feel quite a bit different to the plastic ones, they have a softer feel and texture to them. Finally I have found a small poo bag which is actually a small size and is adequate for my Shih Tzu even if she decides she needs to go twice on our walks out.
Super quality; the best we have used!!
These bags have a slightly less wide opening than some other brands but do the job.
Used to using biodegradable poop bags but first time with this brand. Very small and several of them split when taking off roll and opening.
Nice and biologically disposable.
I can’t open any of the bags. They are all stuck together so assume they got wet in transit or have started to biodegrade.Bought them three months ago so assume I have to lump it now.
Easy to open, pick up poop and tie a knot in. No leeks. Works just as expected. No plastic either.
So far no leaks, a good sturdy bag that holds all my Great Dane X has to offer and still ties up well.
I don't write many reviews, but these are worth telling you about. There are many out there that say they are biodegradable, but they are still plastic, and just become micro plastics more readily than plain plastic bags! These do not contain any plastic, they are strong enough, do not leak, and are perfectly big enough tie-handle bags, in my experience anyway.I must admit though, I don't have giant hands, and I don't tend to treat things roughly.I don't wish to tell others what to buy, but why would anyone buy 'biodegradable' plastic?!! I will be ordering more.
The bag is fine for strength and handiness but the opening is too small. It is hard to turn the bag inside out and so picking up the poo is tricker than I’d like. I’d also say that these are only suitable for small dogs - capacity is limited. The handles are useful but again, a bit short. No issue with the colour, smell or sturdiness though.
ECO WAVE 100% Biodegradable and Compostable Leak-Proof Dogs 🐶 🐕 Poop Bags are described as for Small/Medium Sized dogs 🐕 🐶🐩 but they are small , so I’m not convinced that these are suitable for medium sized dogs 🐩 🐕unless you want to make a mess🥺 💩 trying to get everything in 🐾 🥺. Apart from that, they are perfectly described on this 📄 page.
Biodegradable and compostable dog poo bags are becoming a trend because they greatly reduce the consumption of plastic bags.Compared to other dog poo bags I have used, this is a bit smaller in size but the product information has clearly stated that this is for small and medium dog. My dog is still a puppy so it suits my needs without problem. It is pretty thick though andd has got convenient tied handles to make our tasks eaiser.Good product. Recommended.
These bags are ok if you have a small dog. They are easy to tear off and open but are quite thin and not the largest of sizes. The loops take up quite a bit of the space though are not quite large enough to easily tie the top. The loop too does make these easier to use however as they separate from the roll and expand well. These are too small for a large dog as you have to be quite proficient in using them to pick up a larger amount of poop without getting any outside of the bag.I will keep 2 different sizes of poop bags in my pocket and only use these for my small dog. These bags are compostable and biodegradable and come in a recyclable box. They must be stored in a cool dry place.
This review is for the ECO WAVE 100% Biodegradable and Compostable Leak-Proof Dogs Poop Bags For Small/Medium Sized Dogs, 120 Fragrance Free Bags, EN 13432 Certified£9.99 at the time of review. These bags are a little on the small size although I can still get my hand inside them, but if you need to pick up a lot of poo, you may need more than one which makes them more expensive than they need to be.The tie handles are also on the short side which makes tying a double not in them quite tricky, and again, harder than it needs to be.They are biodegradable and compostable which is brilliant, they are on a roll which fits into my poo bag, and I could pick poo up with them, but the size and the short tie handles means I am giving 4 stars to these poop bags and not five. Perhaps if the maker could make them a little bigger with longer tie handles and yet keep the price the same, it would make all the difference.
These come in a neat box and are presented in rolls, they have a slight fragrance and are easy to open and use, can be tied up and disposed of properly and nice and strong - suitable for any size of dog.
These bags are strong and reliable. The size is good and equivalent to the bags I usually use. They are easy to separate and get open out in the field. The downside is the price, which is expensive compared with similar products, hence 4 stars.
Like some other biodegradable bags, these are made form corn starch, and have the same pleasant rubbery feel, very different from the typical mainstream bags. They are supplied in rolls, and separate along the perforations fairly readily. They are averagely easy to open, I would say, using the fold at the side, a real bugbear with some bags. These bags have tie-handles, and are smaller than some, but big enough for most jobs. They are much better and greener than supermarket bags, but also more expensive. There are 120 bags in the biodegradable box, which works out at just over ten pence each. Not a fortune. The maker recommends using them within nine months. What happens then is unknown, but I may keep a few to find out.
Compostable dog poop bags made with plant-based corn starch, strong enough for every walk.
